Rod MacDonald has been traveling regularly through Europe for nearly twenty years. As an exceptionally creative and dedicated songwriter, he manages to create relevant and impressive musical statements, especially in today's time. As an early member of the New York folk cooperative Fast Folk and part of the legendary Greenwich Village scene, he has significantly influenced the development of the genre in the USA. Today he lives in Florida, yet his ability to write profound and socially relevant songs remains unbroken. Nearly every year he releases a new album with impressive compositions—often accompanied by tours that also take him to Europe. His music thrives on political engagement, sharp observations, and remarkable narrative depth—qualities that also make his concerts intense and impressive experiences.
