Event
Following in the footsteps of the great Kitzbühel baroque composer, interested parties walk through the birthplace of Benedikt Anton Aufschnaiter, who saw the light of day here in 1665. What led to his career as court and cathedral conductor for three prince-bishops in Passau, what the living situation of the Bürgers family Aufschnaiter looked like in the late 17th century, and which places can still be associated with the great master of South German-Austrian baroque music are all revealed by musicologist Cornelia Erber during a walk through Kitzbühel's city center. The tour is free of charge, and the meeting point is in front of the Kitzbühel Tourism office.
