Kitzbühel is the ideal starting point or stopover for bikepacking adventurers.
Perfectly located on the iconic Alps to Adriatic 500 Route and at the heart of the Gravel Tirol trail, it's the perfect place to rest and explore the surrounding area. The gravel riding options are nearly endless – whether you're tackling challenging climbs or discovering hidden huts and lesser-known spots.
We recommend exploring the well-known routes on Komoot, or check out the Felbertauern Shuttle as part of your journey from Kitzbühel to Italy.
From St. Johann: Follow the historic Römerweg, the original road to Rome, straight into Kitzbühel. Tip: Find a terrace for your coffee break and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

Alternatively, get off at Kirchberg train station for access to advanced trails via the Gaisberg and Fleck lifts, just 5 minutes away.
