Anniversary weekend in the Aurach wildlife park

Two-day anniversary specials On Saturday, October 15, 2022, the anniversary weekend in the Aurach Wildlife Park starts at 11:30 a.m. with a morning pint with the Auracher Gunglmusik. Between 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Fabiola invites you to do some face painting. On Sunday, October 16, 2022, further offers await the guests of the Aurach wildlife park. The musical afternoon with Lois Manzl begins at 12:00 p.m. A special treat awaits the little guests on this day as well: the artist Simone Opdahl offers a children's painting workshop "Favorite animals from the Aurach wildlife park". Seats subject to availability.

The resulting works are then auctioned off by Florentine Rosemeyer and the proceeds go to the Aurach wildlife park. Children can look forward to a surprise afterwards. Younger guests look forward to supervised feedings in the Streichlstadl on Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. On both days, the Aurach Wildlife Park team will be available to answer questions about the 350 animals and 32 different species: at 11:00 a.m. in front of the ibex enclosure and at 2:00 p.m. in front of the new lynx house. For the 50th anniversary there is a special gift for the wildlife park animals. In 2022 - the year of the lynx - the lynx house, the oldest building in the game park, was modernized and the outdoor enclosure was enlarged.

There are special admission offers on the anniversary weekend. Admission prices on Saturday are the same as they were 50 years ago. Adults enter the park for 0.35 cents and children for 0.20 cents. On Sunday, all birthday children who will be or have turned 50 this year have free admission. Active animal godparents and sponsors can take friends and family to the wildlife park for free on both days. If you are interested in sponsoring an animal, you will also receive an annual family ticket for two adults and their children up to the age of 14 when the sponsorship ends this weekend.
