18.08.2022 / On Sunday, August 21, 2022, the traditional Weisenbläser- und Juchezertreffen of the Mitterhögl Weisenbläser will celebrate its anniversary and awaits with a promising program on the Kitzbüheler Horn.
Melodious tradition meets beautiful mountain scenery
It will be started with the Legionaries of Christ, who would like to design the mountain mass on Sunday, August 21th, 2022 at 11:00 am and celebrate it together with all interested parties. Musical support will be provided by the present groups of orchestral wind instruments. The joint mass will be held at Rangglplatz and can be reached via several options. On the one hand with the gondola of the Hornbahn - over the middle station further up to the summit and from there by the alpine flower garden in approx. 30 minutes downward to the Rangglplatz hike. Alternatively from the middle station with the cable car directly to the Alpenhaus Kitzbüheler Horn and from here it is about 20 minutes uphill to Rangglplatz. Or lastly the journey by car via the toll road to the Alpenhaus.
After the mass, the individual groups are each introduced with a piece of music and afterwards the yodelers and juchezers give their best, letting the green alpine meadows of the Kitzbüheler Horn resound. Finally, everyone will meet for the finale at the Alpenhaus Kitzbüheler Horn, where music and singing will continue.
Some groups will already arrive on Saturday, August 20th, 2022 and give a first taste of their sound skills at 8:00 pm in the Vorderstadt in Kitzbühel.
The event will take place in all weathers.
