From the Grüntal Chapel on slightly ascending gravel roads along the Kelchalmbach stream, following the Kelchalm ditch, you reach the parking area for the hikers' cars. The ascent then becomes somewhat steeper, and a little later you reach the tree line and a wonderful view of the dreamlike mountain world of Jochberg, of Kitzbühel and the Wilder Kaiser. Shortly afterwards you reach the Niederkaser-Alm. A few metres below the alpine pasture, you pass the ruins of the former Pochwerk, which is reminiscent of the days of copper mining. From here the ascent becomes steeper, but also sunnier and leads to the Oberkaser-Alm. The whole time you have a wonderful panorama of the Wilder Kaiser and the Jochberg mountains in front of you. Once you have reached your destination, you can enjoy a wonderful view. Return the same way to the starting point.
