From the Grüntal chapel you follow the gravel road up the Kelchalm-Graben valley. Along the way you will pass the ruins of the old stone mill, a remnant of the copper mining that was once prevalent in the area. From the Niederkaser-Alm the ascent gets a little steeper, but also sunnier and continues to the Oberkaser-Alm where the route finishes. At the top there is a great view down the valley to the Wilder Kaiser, and if you like you can hike from there up to one of the mountain peaks. Follow the same route back down to return to the starting point.
