This route leverages the excellent KitzSki infrastructure. Take the Bichlalm lift to the Bichlalm hut, placing you directly in Kitzbühel's trail paradise. Head south towards Hochwildalm and Gaisberg on flowy trails, enjoying stunning valley views and vistas of the Hohe Tauern to the south. Occasionally, you’ll catch glimpses of the Leoganger and Lofer Steinberge to the north.
Follow the signs to Gebrajoch, maintaining the contour line. Near Gebrajoch, adhere to the GPX track as the path becomes faint. At the Joch, markings reappear, leading to a steep ascent of Gebra, requiring sure-footedness and assisted by safety ropes. Just below the summit, the trail eases, allowing for a restful break on a bench at the Gebra peak with panoramic views.
Descend to Hochwildalm and continue towards Aurach via the wildlife park. From Aurach's village center, climb briefly before alternating between trails and asphalt back to the Bichlalm lift valley station.
