Christmas Market Attractions

Atmospheric Christmas Market

From 19 November to 28 December 2025, a Christmas magic fills the historic city center at the annual Christmas Market. Wednesday to Sunday, always from 2.00 pm to 8.00 pm, festively decorated stalls invite visitors to stroll and linger. Live music from local groups creates a contemplative mood. Those who want to warm themselves from the inside will find something at the numerous mulled wine stands, which offer the ever-popular classics as well as specialties such as mulled Uhudler. You will also find a fine selection of Christmas street food - from doughnuts to crêpes and Tyrolean delicacies, there is something for every taste.

Advent music

Traditional Christmas tunes and native sounds, which awaken memories, invite you to let the year end contemplatively. Through the musical background and the atmospheric mood, you can immerse yourself in the magic of Christmas past from childhood days and feel the glow of lights in your heart.

At the Kitzbühel Christmas Market - one of the most tradition-rich Christmas markets in Tyrol - you can look forward to live music every day, with festive sounds awaiting you both in the 750-year-old town center and in the town park.

Christkindl Post Office

The most beautiful anticipation of Christmas for children is certainly writing the wish list to the Christ Child with all the gifts that you would like to unwrap under the tree on Christmas Eve. What could be more magical than writing and sending the wish list directly at the Christmas market? Direct delivery to the Christ Child is virtually guaranteed in this festive environment.

Like every year, this year the popular Christkindlpost from Kitzbühel Tourism will take place again. Our Kitzbühel Christkindlpost is located by the carriage in the courtyard of the district administration building. The children drop their own message to the Christ Child in the mailbox and Kitzbühel Tourism forwards it directly to the Christ Child.

Traditional craftsmanship

Traditional, romantic and atmospheric is the Christmas season in Kitzbühel, Tyrol. And what would a Christmas market be without Christmas huts where you can buy Christmas tree decorations, woolen crafts and carvings for under the Christmas tree or as souvenirs? In Kitzbühel, year after year, local and regional craftsmen present their masterpieces. And not only that - you can watch some of them at work right on the spot.

Also this year, some representatives of the craftsmanship are represented at the Kitzbühel Christmas Market. At Drechslerstube Hauser you can witness how a unique piece of work is created by master craftsmen with the highest precision and attention to detail. Throughout the year, Vitus Rieder skillfully and lovingly felts high-quality slippers so that he can showcase his handmade creations at our market during the festive season. A unique gift for your loved ones!

Charity Huts

Social and service clubs take operate the Christmas Market hut alternately, with a special focus on social responsibility, incusion and sustainability. The goal is to raise funds and support people with Handicaps. In the midst of the festively decorated downtown, the huts open their doors every weekend to welcome visitors from near and far. This special place serves not only as a meeting place for fellowship and enjoyment, but also as a platform to do good.

Christmas program for children

The Kitzbühel Christmas Market also has plenty of fun and games in store for the little ones. From children's readings with the Christmas story to a historic carousel, all child's wishes can be fulfilled here. While parents can enjoy a glass of mulled wine and pre-Christmas delicacies in an atmospheric setting, boys and girls can immerse themselves in an enchanted winter wonderland. Thanks to the sponsors, children can enjoy these activities for free on the selected days.

On 6 December, Kitzbühel blends tradition with enjoyment: the St. Nicholas parade in the park delights children, while the Krampus run in the town brings an exhilarating thrill. Unforgettable!
