The Kitzbühel mountains can, but do not have to be discovered exclusively on foot. When hiking with lifts, the summer lifts of the Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel simply take over the strenuous part and thus bring you in no time to the starting points for magnificent panoramic & contour line hikes in the local grassy mountains. Once at the top, you can comfortably discover the diverse network of hiking trails, gather new impressions and dare to enjoy far-reaching views.
Standing at the top and being able to enjoy the breathtaking Tyrolean mountain panorama is probably the most beautiful experience for many hiking enthusiasts. Whether beginner or experienced, the Kitzbühel mountains offer some varied summit tours for everyone. Whether it's the Gamsroas, a 9-summit experience of a special kind, or a mountain tour on the Bischof with its extremely striking summit cross - the Kitzbühel grass mountains show themselves from a completely different side here.
There is nothing better than stopping for a bite to eat after a beautiful hike. That's why a visit to one of the many alpine pastures, huts and mountain inns is simply part of hiking in Kitzbühel and its resorts. At the huts you will be spoiled by the innkeepers with culinary delicacies made from regional and local products. Whether buttermilk from their own farm, bread baked by the landlady herself, alpine dairy or meat products from local cattle - everything is fresh and above all carefully cooked and prepared for you.
