St. Bernhard Kapelle

Up on the Hahnenkamm at 1.732 m (5.700 ft).

On the way to the Ehrenbachhöhe, a chapel built in 1961 by the architect Professor Clemens Holzmeister and dedicated to St. Bernhard of Aosta, the patron saint of mountain climbers and Alpine dwellers. The sole ornament of the single-nave space is a Pietà flanked by a tree of lights.
