2020: Double awards for Kitzbühel Tourism
This year, the 34th T.A.I. Werbe Grand Prix, founded in 1980 by the trade magazine Tourist Austria International, was awarded virtually. By including the public in the voting – supplemented by a jury of experts, the T.A.I. Werbe Grand Prix is considered the world’s toughest and at the same time fairest competition for tourism advertising media.
In spite of the great competition, were the marketing activities of Kitzbühel Tourism awarded twice. In the category Website Associations and Destinations, the website of Kitzbühel Tourism, which was relaunched in autumn 2019, was awarded “Signum Laudis” in silver. Kitzbühel Tourism also received the “Signum Laudis” award, also in silver, for its OOH campaign at Munich Airport.

2019: 4 advertising prizes to Kitzbühel
The radio spot Belgium of Kitzbühel Tourism were awarded the bronze “Signum Laudis” in the category Radio Spots by the expert jury of the competition and were ceremonially presented to the Kitzbühel delegation.
The Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel was ranked first by the expert jury in the category Online & Digital Marketing Campaigns as well as Social Media Campaigns for its “Digital Banner Infotainment System” and received the golden “Signum Laudis”. The Rasmushof also took two awards with it to Kitzbühel: the “Winter Büchlein” for 2018/19 was awarded the bronze “Signum Laudis” by the expert jury, the audience voted the magazine “Schöne Zeit” in first place and thus received the golden “Signum Laudis”, both in the category catalogues and brochures hotel industry.

Culinary delights as far as the eye can see: in the current Gault&Millau, Kitzbühel and its holiday villages have been awarded a total of 15 toques, spread over 12 restaurants. With 2 hoods Lois Stern, the Neuwirt and the Bergdiele Stamperl were awarded in the chamois town. Restaurants with 1 bonnet include the following establishments: Cuisino Restaurant, Zur Tenne, Chizzo, Wirtshaus zum Rehkitz and Seebichl – all in Kitzbühel, s’Pfandl in Reith, the Hallerwirt in Aurach and Bärenbichl as well as Jodlbühel – both in Jochberg.
Victor goes to Kitzbühel
In the category “Sport Tourism Region of the Year” Kitzbühel impressed with its proven pioneering spirit and was awarded third place at the Victor awards ceremony. The award of the Sport Business Magazine honors established initiatives, products and services as well as people in the sports and leisure industry and emphasizes the great economic and social connection between sport and business.
