Swimming, cycling and running in the Kitzbühel Alps

European top athletes will again fight for medals in the Gamsstadt. From September 4th to September 7th 2025, the annual triathlon weekend will take place at the Schwarzsee in Kitzbühel. The program includes a Europe Triathlon Cup, a competition for the European top athletes, as well as competitions for enthusiastic amateur athletes and the KitzTRIGames for the Austrian triathlon youth.

For the elite, the Kitzbühel Triathlon Weekend starts on Friday, with Bike Familiarization. The final races will take place on Saturday. A full elite starting field is already registered - at the moment there are already 23 nations across Europe as well as triathletes from Australia, Canada, Japan, the USA and New Zealand at the start.

Admission free to all triathlon events.

The Kitzbühel Triathlon will take place again in the latesummer from 4th to 7th June 2025. 1,000 triathletes will participate. There will be traffic disruptions in the areas of Lebenberg, Steuerberg, Schwarzseestraße, Reitherstraße, Seebichlweg, Bichlachweg, Lebenbergstraße, Achrainweg, and surrounding areas. The exact times of road closures will be announced soon. Additionally, caution is advised on the specified roads in the weeks leading up to the triathlon due to increased cyclist traffic.
