In August 2025, Kitzbühel’s music association, the “Stadtmusik Kitzbühel”, is hosting its traditional “Jahrmarkt” festival in the town centre for the impressive 99^th time. With brass bands and music groups, bars and stalls, galleries and many other attractions, the event fills the town with life and puts a smile on everyone’s face. Year after year, this big summer festival held on the first Saturday in August attracts a multitude of locals and guests from all over the world to our mountain paradise.

Numerous music groups get the party started with performances in many locations throughout the town. The streets are not only lined with stalls run by local landlords and traditional clubs and associations but also shooting galleries and many other attractions for the entire family.

At this year’s event, visitors from in and around Kitzbühel can yet again take advantage of the special shuttle service, with free buses that provide quick and safe transport to and from the festival.

The festival kicks off at 4.00 pm and takes place in all weather conditions.
