29th to 30st August 2025
The region's culinary virtuosos invite you to KITZ Kulinarik on 29th to 30th August 2025 to taste the local culinary map in Kitzbühel's city center!
Culinary delights belong to Kitzbühel like the Streif belongs to the Hahnenkamm. Culinary delights, traditional delicacies and upscale cuisine are inextricably linked to the Gamsstadt. The variety of options for culinary delights in the Kitzbühel region is also the basis for KITZ Kulinarik 2025. With its designated festival character, all signs point to tasting and enjoying. The focus of the participating KITZ Kulinarik partners is therefore on regional products with stories that can be told and experienced at the same time.
High-quality local products, committed restaurateurs, mountain hut owners and producers - all these are the ingredients for a culinary highlight in a class of its own. KITZ Kulinarik combines traditional dishes and innovative interpretations. Around 20 restaurateurs from Kitzbühel and the surrounding area will transform the historic town center into a festival of pleasure on the last weekend in August. The varied culinary stands are spread throughout the Vorderstadt and Hinterstadt, reflecting regional diversity.
The emphasis on regionality particularly stands out: not only in the hosts, but also in the dishes and the ingredients to be used. In addition, Kitzbühel Tourism is very keen to establish sustainability principles. Thus, the event is set up according to the 3 R - Reduce | Reuse | Recycle. Short ways of the ingredients, since from local production united with compostable, no disposable bottles and avoidance of plastic composite material.
:: New at KITZ Kulinarik: Focus on sustainability
This year, KITZ Kulinarik will be held in accordance with the standards for Green Events Tirol for the first time. In doing so, we are sending out a strong signal for environmentally conscious events and raising awareness of sustainable enjoyment. Green Events Tirol is an initiative of Klimabündnis Tirol and Umweltverein Tirol, in cooperation with the province of Tirol to promote a socially responsible event culture.
:: Culinary delights in harmony with nature
We attach particular importance to culinary diversity. All dishes on offer are prepared using regional and seasonal products, preferably organic. If regional products are not available, we use fair-trade food. At least half of our dishes are meat-free in order to promote a conscious and sustainable diet. Products that endanger species conservation are not on our menu.
